1:1 Coaching
By the end of my 40s, my life was a terrible mess - lots of things out of control - everything going wrong. When it became bad enough for me to do something, there were two ideas that got my attention: ‘If what you’re doing isn’t working, then maybe it’s time to try something else?’ And, ‘It’s madness to keep doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome.’
Those suggestions became a portal through which I could pass to get the help I needed to change.
Of course, we all have problems in life - ups and downs are to be expected - and putting up with difficulties for short periods of time can be tolerated fairly well. But there are other times when our usual way of doing things, even our jobs, relationships, likes and dislikes just don’t seem to ‘fit us’ any more and our habitual responses to our problems no longer bring the resolutions we were hoping for. We feel it’s time for change.
Working 1:1 with a coach can be hugely beneficial at these times. Being given the space to talk things over with someone who is really listening is very powerful. A coach has a range of tools including creative listening and curious questioning. Together we will identify any limiting blocks that hold you back, name your skills and strengths and bring out the ideas and solutions that lie within you.
Below are some of the areas that I have helped clients to gain clarity and perspective on, however I am delighted to work with you no matter whatever your needs or aims may be:
There’s a popular saying that’s guaranteed to bring anyone down, ‘Life’s a bitch and then you die.’ Don’t let that be your mantra!
I prefer, ’Life is a gift - let’s live it to the full.’
How does it work?
When you first get in touch, you are welcome to a free 30 minute call to find out more about Life Coaching. During this call we can establish the reason for your enquiry and the aims that you have. From this discussion I will be able to make a plan to suit your needs.
Ideally, 1:1 sessions would be face to face but when necessary they can be by Zoom or telephone.
Costs from £40 for an appointment by 'phone.
Should you decide to work with me (and I certainly hope you do!), we can tailor an ongoing package to suit your needs.

Dear Caroline - Thank you for your kind, understanding and non-judgmental coaching. It has helped me so much. I feel more in control of my situation, more empowered to deal with things and altogether more positive. I have realised that changing my behaviour and how I deal with things does in fact change the behaviour of those around me, making for a much happier house! Coaching helped me change my way of thinking and helped me understand my own feelings. With the tools you have given me, I shall continue to move forward and encourage those around me to do the same. - Sarah.
